Shipping and Returns

What are your Terms and Conditions?

  • ChefMax Cooking Solutions is a division of Ozari, Inc. Any purchase from ChefMax Cooking Solutions represents an agreement with Ozari, Inc. Customer service can be reached at (615) 467-6872 or via email at customerservice@ChefMaxstores.com.
  • Terms and conditions maybe changed without notice and it is the responsibility of the buyer to review all terms and conditions before purchasing.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to obtain any information required to make a confident decision prior to purchase.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to be knowledgeable on any State or County codes and regulations that pertain to their specific area.
  • The buyer will not hold Ozari, Inc. liable for anything not state in the description or images, including, but not limited to, any assumptions or verbal statements.
  • The buyer will be responsible for standard packing charges which will be determined based on requirements of wrapping, repacking, and strapping to a pallet.
  • Any special packing requirements must be specified by the buyer and will assess additional charges; buyer must specify any special requirements in advance.
  • Handling fees may be incurred for any pick-ups, depending on location and requirements determined by the seller.
  • Insurance is not standard on shipments; if the buyer wants insurance coverage, they can contact customer service to obtain options and fees.
  • Signature services are not standard; the buyer may request, in advance, and should contact customer service for fees.
  • Any non-standard service requests must be submitted in writing to Ozari, Inc.
  • Ownership of items is passed to the buyer at the shipping point. The seller does not accept any responsibility for items once they have shipped.
  • Any shipments that are refused or returned to the seller will be considered an unauthorized return and additional fees will apply.
  • The seller agrees to present all items as accurately as possible based on the information available to us at time of posting. There is NO guarantee on the accuracy of this information.
  • All used equipment is sold AS IS / WHERE IS and with all faults. The seller provides no guarantee that equipment sold as used will arrive in clean / like new condition or in working order.
  • In reference to refrigeration, the solder holding refrigeration lines together brittles with age, vibrations through shipping could cause it to crack and could cause the refrigeration to leak. In some rare cases an item as described as cooling may no longer cool after shipping. The buyer, in most cases, will not incur more than $100.00 to repair and recharge the system.
  • All new merchandise will be limited to the manufacturers' warranty. Any commercial equipment used in a residential setting may void all warranties. The buyer will hold Ozari, Inc. harmless for any matters pertaining to the items, including the performance of the manufacturer in regards to their warranty.
  • Merchandise must be assembles, installed or repair by an authorized service agent of the manufacturer of the equipment, otherwise it may void all warranties.
  • Any reports on defective of malfunctioning equipment must include reporting from an authorized service agency; with a detailed description of their findings.
  • The buyer agrees to abide by Ozari, Inc.'s decision regarding resolution of the issues.
  • If the buyer fails to abide by these terms and conditions, no credit will be issued.

How do i Return a Product?

  • ChefMax Cooking Solutions is a division of Ozari, Inc. Any purchase from ChefMax Cooking Solutions represents an agreement with Ozari, Inc. Customer service can be reached at (615) 467-6872 or via email at customerservice@ChefMaxstores.com.
  • If the buyer chooses to cancel an order, it must be submitted in writing to Ozari, Inc. by contacting customer service via email at customerservice@ChefMaxstores.com.
  • If cancellation is not submitted by the buyer in enough time for the seller to hold shipment from the supplier; it will then be considered a return request.
  • If the supplier does not allow cancellation (i.e. manufactured-to-order items), the seller reserves the right to deny the request. If the request is accepted the buyer may be subject to a higher restocking fee, typically no higher than 25%.
  • If the supplier does allow for the cancellation there will be a 5% cancellation fee charged from the seller to the buyer. This fee may be waived if the customer would rather receive a store credit and will be good for up to 9 months.
  • If the buyer requests a refund of any store credit they will be subject to the 5% cancellation fee.
  • The buyer agrees to all cancellation policies as specified by the seller.
  • Not all items will qualify as a returnable item. Buyer's remorse is not grounds for a return. Approval of return requests is the sole discretion of Ozari, Inc.
  • The buyer must acknowledge that the process of returns and cancellations can cause a refund to take up to two billing cycles; we will complete this process as quickly as possible.

What are your Shipping Policies?

  • Shipping is available with-in the continental USA. If buyer requires items to be shipped out of the country they will need to contact customer service to inquire about charges and capabilities.
  • Delivery charges are for curb side deliveries and does not include inside delivery and setting in place.
  • Residential deliveries are available and will incur additional charges.
  • Lift gate deliveries are available upon request and will incur additional charges.
  • Most orders will be shipped with-in 10 business days; once payment has been processed unless otherwise noted. In some cases, items maybe back ordered, or on custom fabricated items it may take up to 4  6 weeks before shipping. The seller does not guarantee shipping times. You may contact customer service at any time to inquire the status of your shipment.
  • The buyer will pay all costs relating to the shipment, including charges by the shipping company that were not paid at check out. This could include charges due to inaccurate delivery address or other information as provided by the buyer relating to the delivery, charges due to failed delivery attempt(s) by the shipping company, etc.
  • New equipment is FOB manufacturers' dock at the facilities location.
  • Used equipment will be sold FOB Nashville, TN.
  • The buyer will responsible for inspection of all items at the time of delivery to verify items are free from damage, both concealed and visible damages.
  • The buyer will accept the delivery and note of the delivery receipt / BOL any damages or concerns.
  • If the buyer fails to note any damages, it will cause a reduction in the shipper's liability and ability to process claims.
  • The buyer will be responsible for filing claims for any loss or damaged items with-in the shipper's specified time frame. Shipping companies do not allow a third party to be involved in any freight claims. Ozari, Inc. is a third party for shipments of most of the items they sell. The buyer may contact customer service and they will assist in filing freight claims as requested by the buyer.
  • The buyer will be responsible for any charges or concerns for any shipments and agrees to hold, Ozari, Inc., suppliers and vendors harmless.
  • The buyer must notify Ozari,Inc. of any refused shipments
  • Any problems or issues must be reported with-in 15 days of receipt of item(s).
  • Return requests must be made in writing with-in 15 days of the buyer receiving the merchandise.
  • A restocking fee of 25% will be applicable on all returns; for non-stock items or custom fabricated items it will be more and will be decided by Ozari, Inc. upon approval of return.
  • Unauthorized returns hold no guarantee for a credit to be issued.
  • Any merchandise returned but be in original packaging, any accessories / instructions, and packages securely to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Any returned or refused merchandise will be assessed by Ozari, Inc. for condition and its re-salability.
  • On any returns the buyer will be responsible for: original packing costs, shipping costs, storage fees from the carrier, return shipping costs, restocking fees, cancellation fees, repair charges for any damages incurred, and any charges disclosed as non-refundable.
